One of the most common questions I get as a pet photographer is “What type of wall art do you recommend?”

I am proud to say that I am offering a new line of wall art, made exclusively for Pawsh Photography clients.

Introducing the Ope! Series.

Hand crafted right here in Minnesota, these one of a kind pieces are the result of collaboration between me, the photographer, and Beth, a very talented St Paul framer. We each leverage our skills to create truly one of a kind works of art.

We create the artwork as if it were hanging in our own homes. Details matter!

We want you to have the very best, and we know these rustic prints will make you swoon.

The process starts at the initial consultation meeting, where I meet with new clients to plan a pet portrait session. We discuss style, color and overall aesthetic at this meeting, and schedule the portrait session with these ideals in mind. Choosing the right location is crucial. Grassy fields look right at home with an modern farmhouse design. Bold floral backgrounds work well with more contemporary homes, while formal studio portraits enhance a traditional house. Whatever the style and location I will create portraits that capture your dog or cat’s unique personality.

Once the portrait session is complete, we will meet again to choose your favorite images from the session. It’s part of my job to guide you through the image selection process. I help clients choose the perfect images for their unique needs.

After the final images are selected, I head back to my digital darkroom to put the finishing touches on the images. When I am satisfied that your pet portrait is perfect, I collaborate with Beth. Together we choose the best printing paper and frame wood for the image.

I print the image myself in my Maple Grove office using a professional quality printer. Then I hand deliver your image to Beth, who works magic in her wood shop. Beth frames every image by hand - she tightly miters every corner, stains and varnishes every inch of the frame, and adds a finished backing and wire hanging hardware. We take our time and make sure every step in the process is completed to perfection.

The end result is truly stunning, uniquely yours and passionately handcrafted by two strong Minnesota women.
