I specialize in dog photography, but I can also accommodate cats, bunnies, turtles - any pet your family considers a beloved companion. And my session charges don't change if your menagerie is present!
Over the years, I've learned how to pose groups that include shy or unpredictable animals. I use sounds, props, and treats to capture irresistibly cute moments between pets and humans.

Studio Family Photography
We can do the shoot outdoors, or you can visit my studio in Hopkins, Minnesota. I offer a choice of contemporary and traditional backgrounds, and the setting is ideal for pet and family portraits.
Private Farm
This beautiful farm is privately owned and exclusively available for Pawsh Photography clients. The property boasts willow trees, attractive outbuildings, and a long driveway. If you want to capture your kids and pets roaming free - even greeting the resident goats - let's do your shoot at this picture-perfect farm near Rogers, Minnesota.
In-Home Sessions
I schedule at-home sessions designed for dogs diagnosed with terminal illnesses, celebrating their life with sensitivity and care. I am a certified pet loss photographer and part of The Joy Network and One Last Network. You can find more information about my end of life sessions here. Outdoor Family Photography
If you'd prefer an outdoor setting, we can choose one together or use one of my handpicked locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul. These locations are lovely to look at, as well as family and dog-friendly.

Step One: The Consultation
First, we'll get to know each other through a phone call or Zoom meeting. I want to learn about you and your family so we can choose the right location and photography package.
During the call, I'll explain the options on offer so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and budget. I will also be happy to show you some examples of different styles and answer any questions you may have.

Step Two: The Session
When we meet for the shoot, I will spend time warming up the family (and pets!) so everyone relaxes. Then, I start photographing, capturing those candid moments as they happen. I may gently guide some poses too.
I shoot a lot to catch peak expressions and interactions. You can let your guard down though, because I'll edit out any less-than-flattering moments!Enjoy a relaxed session where I guide your cat through various shots. Expect a natural environment, allowing me to capture genuine moments from different angles.

Step Three: View and Order
A few days after the photo shoot, we'll get together to review all the photos. This lets you choose your favorites and decide how you'd like to display them. I have plenty of options to suit every style, so you'll soon find exactly the look you want. I can even retouch your chosen photos and edit for color, light, and more.

Step Four: Enjoy Your Custom Art
Around four weeks after you have chosen the images you would like for your order, you will receive your stunning archive-quality custom artwork. Then, all you have to do is decide where to display these exquisite pieces of family history in your home, cabin, or office.

Family photography preserves precious memories forever - that's why it's such a special investment to make. Whatever your needs and budget, I can create the perfect package to suit you. The reservation retainer for a session is $350. Wall art and albums are an additional investment, starting at $700.
Every package is unique and tailored to your family, so investments will vary depending on your final artwork selections. To give you an idea of price, most of my clients invest around $2,000.
All future retainer fees are waived once you reserve a session with me.
