How to choose wall of your pet
As a pet photographer, I often hear from my Minneapolis and St Paul clients that they aren’t sure what type of wall art to choose. They are in love with their professional pet portrait, they know the image is the perfect likeness of their dog or cat’s personality.
They don’t want to make a mistake when it comes to investing in wall art for their home.
Remember. this is art, and art for you! That means you really can’t mess up. Get what you love, what speaks to your soul.
That said, there are some guidelines I offer to all pet parents.
Consider your style. Do you love bright colors, or are neutrals more your thing? Think long term- will you love orange poppies on your wall in 5-10 years?
Consider a “safe” wall size. I consider 20x30 wall art a wise investment. It is large enough to stand on its own, and small enough to be paired with other wall art in the future.
Consider collages. Especially if you fall in love with more than one image, collages are a great way to create a cohesive display in your home.
We will discus all of these things when we meet for your planning session, and again when you review your images at your ordering session. And don’t worry - I will help guide your decision. It’s part of my job as your pet photographer.
Together we will create beautiful artwork that celebrates your pet.
