Puppy in my studio!

Ah puppies.

So much fun. #adorable

Yeah, this session was everything you think it was - chaotic, fun and waaaay adorable.

Did I mention adorable?!

This is Lola and she is 5 pounds of fluffy gooey love. She chased me when I was changing my backgrounds, and she and I played on the floor after our session. She’s an independent joyful little gal, I loved every minute of this session. Sometimes I can’t believe this is my life. Pet photography is absolutely my passion and my dream job.

Photographing puppies is harder than you think, Puppies move fast, tire easily and aren’t yet well trained. That means working faster than they are and always being prepared to catch the action. We kept Lola on her leash to help encourage her to sit and stay in a spot. It sometimes worked. And that is to be expected.

Part of my job as a pet photographer is working with clients to plan the session in as much detail as we can. That means deciding on wardrobe, wall art placement, color palate, and many other details. For Lola we chose a vintage vibe so I went with my sweet rose background. And also the traditional basket, because #adorable. Studio pet photography is the best.

I love that you can see Lola’s personality in these photos.
