It’s rare that I photograph dogs at their own homes. This is for a couple of reasons.

I am an asthmatic, and I never know when a client’s home will trigger an asthma attack. Not a good look for a dog photographer!

Usually clients have yards that are suburban, flat and photographically not interesting. Minneapolis can be flat.

Sometimes clients’ yards are amazingly manicured and full of amazing objects like pools, gardens and terraces. If that’s you, I’ll come to your house and photograph your dog any day. Especially if your dog is an adorable four month old husky named Kilala, after Japanese anime.
