End of Life Session

As a pet photographer, it is an honor to be invited into the lives of our furry friends and their owners. I love capturing the unique story of each pet, from their playful puppy years to the serene senior moments. One of the worst parts of having a pet is that we humans usually outlive them.

Many of my clients return for an end of life session.

Unlike other pet photography sessions, I usually photograph end of life sessions in your home. This can be particularly beneficial for pets who may not be able to travel easily or who are most comfortable in their own space. In-home sessions also allow for more personalized and intimate photographs - we can capture your pet in their favorite spots, surrounded by their favorite toys, and with their favorite humans.

Even more than with other sessions, we make sure we pace the session to accomodate everyone’s needs. If you or your pet needs a break, we take one, for as long as you need. These sessions can be emotional for the humans. (And I expect emotion, and will support you through whatever emotions come up during our session.) Sessions are relaxed and peaceful, and also celebratory.

While end of life sessions can be emotional, they can also be incredibly meaningful for both your pet and your family.

They provide an opportunity to celebrate your pet's life and the joy they have brought to your family. By capturing these moments, we create lasting memories that honor your pet's legacy and provide comfort to the entire family.

I consider it a great honor to be let into your life at a challenging time, We have the opportunity to create something beautiful and meaningful that will be treasured for years to come.
